Fabio Granata, più semplicemente “Fabio” per il rapporto di stima reciproca e di amicizia che ci lega oramai da diversi anni, mi ha scritto che sarebbe un onore avere un mio commento sul suo sito, attivo da ieri.
Bene, io ritengo, caro Fabio, che l’onore sia mio! E’ mio perchè hai scelto l’immagine di mio padre a fianco del tuo pezzo dal titolo “Contro le Mafie, la bella Politica”, è mio perchè il tuo pensiero è “intriso” di quei valori per i quali mio padre non è morto invano, è mio perchè i segnali di speranza prepotenti tra i tantissimi giovani del meridione d’Italia cui fai riferimento nel tuo articolo non sono casuali ma nascono da una coscienza civile sempre più dilagante tra le nuove generazioni che tu stesso interpreti e sai cogliere traendone le relative conseguenze politiche, è mio perchè intravedo nella tua persona la stessa sicilianità e lo stesso amore per la nostra terra che aveva mio padre.
Ed allora mi permetto anche io – da figlio di mio padre – di gridare con forza “meglio un giorno da Borsellino che cento anni da Ciancimino”!
Fare bene cose che interessano il bene comune, che disegnano e inventano la dimensione dell’agire: questo il senso di un’Impresa Politica.
